Yesterday (Friday, 4th October) Clongowes was delighted to welcome Mr David Quinn to give talks to Poetry and Rhetoric. Mr Quinn, Director of the Iona Institute, Irish Independent columnist and regular contributor to a variety of television and radio programmes, spoke on the topic of: The Changing Family: What Christians have to say.
In his challenging and thought-provoking address, he expressed the need to examine different notions of freedom, and emphasised the importance of commitment and the need to put the happiness of others above our own.
