Rhetoric Parent Day will take place on next Sunday 14th January 2018 as indicated on the school calendar. The day will begin at 09.30 and will end after 11.30 Mass. You are invited to lunch in the refectory should you and the boys wish to stay.
Our main speaker on Sunday will be Fr Peter Sexton SJ, who is currently Chaplain at Trinity College Dublin. Fr Sexton served as Poetry Prefect in Clongowes from 1994 to 2011 and has also been Headmaster of Gonzaga College SJ (1985 – 1989). He was a student in Crescent College Comprehensive SJ in Limerick and is a contemporary of former Clongowes Headmaster, Fr Bruce Bradley SJ.
As well as Fr Sexton there will be students from some Dublin third level colleges, who will share their experiences with us. The title of the presentation will be:
Starting Third Level: Opportunities – Freedom – Challenges
Shared Experiences for Parents and OCs.
