The boys from Poetry attended a Ceilí in Mount Sackville Secondary School on Tuesday night (December 4th). The event was held as a fundraiser for the Capuchin day centre for homeless people in Dublin and 75 pupils along with Messrs Damien Carter and Patrick Gorman cut a rug or two in the traditional style. Although there were no ‘Michael Flatleys’ on display they did show some good moves on the dance floor and were complimented (sic) by the Mount Sackville staff members. A small donation was offered from the students from Clongowes and there were also some spot prizes on the night, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
