Guinness Choir in CWC - Clongowes Wood College

Posted: 23rd March 2015

My Goodness; it’s Guinness!

As part of our Bicentenary celebrations, we were delighted that the renowned Guinness Choir agreed to perform at our Mass last Sunday, March 22nd. They were accompanied on the organ by David Leigh and the performance was be conducted by their regular conductor David Milne.

The Choir, which was established in Dublin in 1951, has an extensive repertoire of classical and modern works.  Many distinguished Irish and international soloists have sung with the Choir over the years and they held the congregation spellbound as their ethereal vocals swooped and soared around the sacred space contained within the walls of the Sports Hall.

If you were unable to be there you may sample the event here.
