As part of their fund raising campaign for the Clongowes Duck Push the gentlemen of Syntax are organising the Duck Push Golf Classic at the K-Club in Straffan Co. Kildare on Monday, April 25th. The timesheet is almost full but there are a number of places still available and these will be filled on a ‘first come first served’ basis.

The day will commence with registration and a barbecue at 12.00, followed by a shotgun start on the Palmer course at 13.30, and will conclude with a meal in the Arnold Palmer room. It is a four player team event for which Dr. Michael Smurfit (OC’52) has very kindly donated a Perpetual Cup. Former Ryder Cup Captain, Mr. Paul McGinley, has very kindly agreed to attend the day, join the teams for the evening meal and make the presentations on the night.

Last year the Transition year group raised €140,000 between the Duck Push itself, which covered some 200km between Dublin and Limerick, and numerous fundraisers of all shapes and sizes. The sum raised is used exclusively to purchase valuable medical equipment for Crumlin Childrens’ Hospital and we are trying to do our best for them once again this year.

If you would like to take part in this exclusive event please contact us at duckpushgolf@gmail.com or by calling 045 868202
