The parents association is pleased to announce that a CAREERS MORNING for Rhetoric and Poetry students has been organised for Saturday, 19th December, 9:30 am – 12:30pm. A variety of alumni and current parents have volunteered to be speakers and will give a talk on their area of expertise, followed by a question and answer session. In total, the sessions will last 20 minutes, with an opportunity for speakers to speak informally to the students in the concourse afterwards. The aim is to create relaxed and interactive sessions. Groups will be small and numbers limited, so it is essential to sign up in advance. The boys will be able to attend 6 sessions from a choice of 16 options.
Additionally, we are inviting 6th years to sign up for Mock Interviews, with 5 minute feedback sessions. Places will be limited due to time constraints.
We are extremely indebted to the generous parents and alumni who have volunteered their valuable time and energy at a particularly busy time of year. Without their enthusiasm and generosity of spirit we could not arrange this event and it is indeed a gracious manifestation of the Christmas Spirit.
We would like you to encourage your sons to participate and take advantage of this very useful and informative opportunity. The boys will be asked to submit and return a form indicating which talks they would be interested in attending. PLEASE REMIND THEM TO SIGN UP!!
We look forward to a wonderfully interactive and educational event.
