Rudiments and Grammar Parent Day

Rudiments and Grammar Parents are jointly invited to attend the Parent Day that will take place on this Sunday 25th November 2018, when Mr Derek Lahart, Counsellor and Psychotherapist will speak on: ‘Fear of losing my child’.

Following a successful career in customer relations and sales Derek returned to college to become a Counsellor and Psychotherapist. This was brought on by the unexpected death of one of his dearest and closest friends. He has since worked with organisations such as HOPED, Vista Primary Care and Pieta House. The continued effort to assist people who are temporarily struggling has also brought Derek to provide presentations on Positive Mental Health to students and parents alike.

The day will begin at 09.30 with refreshments in the concourse, after which Mr Lahart will speak in Room 3 at 09.50. We will finish with Eucharist in the Sports Hall at 11.30. Afterwards you are very welcome to have lunch in the refectory.In your response, please let us know if you will be staying for lunch so we can give accurate numbers to our catering staff.
