Rhetoric Parent Day will take place on next Sunday 15th January 2017 as indicated on the school calendar. The day will begin at 10am and will end after 11.30am Mass. You are invited to lunch in the refectory should you and the boys wish to stay.
Our main speaker on Sunday will be Fr Peter Sexton SJ, who is currently Chaplain at Trinity College Dublin. He served as Poetry Prefect in Clongowes from 1994 to 2011 and has also been Headmaster of Gonzaga College SJ (1985 – 1989). Fr Sexton was a student in Crescent College Comprehensive SJ in Limerick and is a contemporary of another member of the Clongowes Community, Fr Bruce Bradley SJ.
As well as Fr Sexton two students from Trinity College Dublin and two students from University College Dublin will share their experiences with us. The title of the presentation will be:
Starting Third Level: Opportunities – Freedom – Challenges
Shared Experiences for Parents and OCs.
