Erik Vaughan from Kilgowan, Co. Kildare is an Old Clongownian (2007) making great strides in the musical world. As part of a new and exciting band, Shadows and Dust, Erik (bass, mandolin & vocals) continues to nurture the potential that was first unearthed under the tuition of Mr. Philip Thomas.
With a fast growing following, the band has played some of Dublin’s biggest gig venues in recent months, while performances on the national airwaves have brought their original material to a wider audience across the country. Crucially, the band has also received positive feedback from esteemed publications such as Hot Press and Goldenplec.
